Quiet residential area in the Sidi bin Slimane area, near Riad Laarouss. 15 minutes from Place Jma el Fna and the suqs (markets).

As the riad is situated in the medina (old city), it is easier to find your way by simply asking for the general area in which the riad is situated—Sidi bin Slimane, which is after Riad Laarouss coming from the main square. Ask a taxi driver for the parking at the masjid Nasser (the mosque) at Sidi bin Slimane.

A taxi would drop you off at an open space with stores and a mosque on the right-hand side, and a school on the left-hand side. This open space narrows into a road. With the mosque on your right take this road and walk straight ahead. It opens out into another square—there are orange walls in front of you and a mosque with a beautiful doorway to your left. Take the right-hand lane where the stores are. If you look up, you will see an arch with an open window and green mosaic tiles. You will pass the local hammam on your right. At the end of this street, turn left. Straight ahead of you is a mosque with a small arcade and white wall, and on the left is a wall fountain. Do not take the road that is straight ahead. Instead walk towards the right where the road zig-zags. You will see a sign for the restaurant Dar Zellij. Keep to the right and walk straight ahead. You will go past some small stores, a téléboutique on your right, then, just past an arch, a wall fountain on the left from which people fetch water. On your right is the restaurant Dar Zellij with a large black door. Keep going straight and turn right about 50 yards on. Walk a little way, then the road turns left 90º under a covered archway. Keep going straight until you're out of the covered archway and you see another open arch ahead of you with a sign for Riad Ariha and a corner house with dark yellow walls. Turn left here which is Derb Ahmed el Borj. Ours is the first door on the right, number 90.

From parking area -go straight ahead, mosque on your right

Down this street that brings you to a small square with mosque Sidi ben Slimane on your left. Walk across the square

Go straight, under the arch.

Just past the arch is the local hammam. Then the street turns slightly left into this street, see small arcade and white wall ahead. You will see a wall fountain on the left-hand side once past this tunnel.
