Snack al Bahriya seafood restaurant is located in the new town of Gueliz, Marrakech. The restaurant brings fresh fish daily from Safi on the Atlantic coast--salmon, sole, crab, calamares and more...
We tried out their restaurant on our last visit - it's very busy at lunch time, popular with locals and ex-pats. More a cheap and cheerful place rather than a sophisticated downtown restaurant.
There is a large selection of fish and shellfish. You can select either other a mixed plate or choose the fish or fish steak that appeals to you. The fish I chose was delicious and nicely prepared with herbs and barbecued. Bread, tomato sauce (not ketchup), and olives are offered with the meal - no chips/french fries though. It's a great deal - about 90 dirhams for two people.
It's located behind the main post office and two streets over from Cafe de la Poste. Address: No. 75 Bis Avenue MyRachid, Gueliz, Marrakech
